Home can mean different things to different people, a place, a time, heaven, a beloved person.  Join MCE as we explore home, and journeys toward home, through folk songs, early American hymns, spirituals, madrigals and more.  It will make your heart ache for home!


Johannes Brahms' towering masterpiece has been called a human requiem, a requiem for the living, not the dead.  It runs the gamut of emotions: sorrow, comfort, hope, triumph, and finally , peace.  Don't miss Master Chorus Eastside and festival orchestra in one fo the truly great works of all time!

No MCE season would be complete without our popular tribute to Independence Day in Issaquah’s historic Pickering Barn, with lots of sing alongs, historical commentary, and all-American music.  It's on Friday evening this year, so come early, bring the family, and order dinner through an on-site food truck!
